Over the last 12 months Midnight has successfully screened at various film festivals all around the world, including Aesthetica Short Film Festival, York; British Shorts Film Festival, Berlin; Seeyousound, Italy; Miners Arts and Community Centre, Manchester as the opening film for Ken Loach’s I, Daniel Blake; ShortShorts, Tokyo; Reelindiefilmfest, Toronto; Dinard British Film Festival, France and Jecheon International Film and Music Festival, South Korea.

Nina Gerstenberger hasn’t been idle in recent months. She has successfully lectured twice at Southampton Solent University about Screenwriting and is working on new screenplay material. Watch this space for her upcoming projects!

Nina is nominated in the ‘Best Writer’ category at the 2015 Underwire Film Festival. The Dream Drafters: Best Writer Award screening takes place on 21 Nov, 11am at Hackney Attic. The Awards Ceremony takes place on 23.11, 8pm, at the same place and is open to the public.
Midnight Of My Life selected for 2015 BFI London Film Festival

Cast&Crew Screening of Midnight Of My Life a great success
On 07.09.15 the screening of Midnight Of My Life for cast, crew and funders took place in London. The film was very well received. The Q&A afterwards featuring Nina Gerstenberger, director Phil Davis and the star of the film, Martin Freeman, gave further insights into the filmmaking process and was equally successful.
Nina live at the King’s Arms, Salford
Nina will be performing live at legendary music venue the King’s Arms in Manchester. Her documentary We Are the Mods, about the mod scene in London today, will also be screened.

Martin Freeman confirmed as lead actor for Midnight Of My Life
The MOML team is incredibly pleased to announce that Martin Freeman is officially on board to play Steve Marriott. The upcoming short film was written by Nina Gerstenberger. Martin was the team’s number one choice for the part and they can’t think of anyone better to bring the character of Steve to life. Filming will take place in the 4th week of April 2015 in London.
